“I Love Music” is track 2 on Ahmad Jamal’s 1970 release “The Awakening.”  The album was recorded in Plaza Sound Studios in New York City.

Ahmad Jamal is one of the most well-renowned and successful jazz musicians.

He was born in 1930 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and began playing piano at age 3. By 10, he had begun his work in composition and orchestration.

By 14, he became so proficient in performing repertoire of jazz greats that he was employed by Pittsburgh masters 4 times his age, and was welcomed into the American Federation of Musicians.
